Atmospheric Environment Flow Analysis

With ongoing urbanization, thermal environment problems such as building winds caused by high-rise construction and the urban heat island effect have become serious concerns in city centers. Countermeasures include windbreak planting, increasing greenery and water surfaces, and making use of prevailing winds. Against this background, our research aims to develop urban thermal environment analysis methods that turn causal factors and mitigation measures into data useful for urban planning.
